Hello world.
I wrote a new blogging software, so that I can write this.
Writing articles using static site generators is great when you have well considered article in you. But, many times I also want to use this website to make a “journal” entry – capture an event time, make a passing note etc.,
I also want to leave notes to myself perhaps by writing a note on a website I found interesting.
You might be saying, “that’s why you have twitter”. The problem with twitter is – you have an audience, and you are aware of who is listening. You don’t want feel like talking about something that is nice for you, but don’t want to burden your audience with. Plus, there is always the notion that you want to own your own data.
Anyhow, the point is that, blog, journal, linkblog, etc., have a place, and I’m happy to have written this to continue writing on the web, on this domain.

Update: Jan 5, 2020
This resolution to use my custom written, new blogging software lasted for less than a month. Hah. I’ll be going back to using my static site generator to write blog posts and more importantly, use the log section to write down stream of conciousness thoughts. Still off twitter since Dec 30, 2019.
