Great thread about a classic TV show - The Twilight Zone. I must read/watch the show with the kids.

I urge everyone to read your book about your dad. I post about it often. “As I Knew Him: My Dad, Rod Serling”is a beautiful read and an awesome example of a wonderful father/daughter relationship. So much about Rod and the early days of television. Great book!

I put “The Howling Man” on for my year 8 class a while back, and they were completely spellbound. His work still resonates all these years later.

The first story I read by Rod Serling was “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street.” We read it in school. After that I was hooked. The underlying social issues in his work made you see things from a different perspective. I loved all of his tv shows.
